Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor, who was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai earlier this week after testing positive for Kovid-19, said his staff had also contracted the virus. However, his wife, former Babita Kapoor and her daughters, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, are fine.
Randhir shared an update on his health and said that he did not have any major problems. Speaking to a leading daily, he said, I have no clue how I got Kovid. I’m surprised Let me also tell you that the entire staff of my five members have also tested positive, and I have hospitalized them with me at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. He said he tested positive despite receiving both shots of the vaccine.
When asked about his symptoms, Randhir said, I felt some shiver and decided it was better to stay safe, so I did the test. But overall I am not in any discomfort. I have no major problem. I am not breathless and I do not even need ICU or oxygen support. I had a slight fever but it is now gone. He said that Babita, Karishma and Kareena tested Kovid-19, but their reports are negative.
Dr. of Kokilaben Hospital Santosh Shetty told PTI on Thursday that there was no cause for concern. He was admitted to the hospital last night for Kovid-19 treatment. He remains stable, there is nothing to worry about.
Randhir, the eldest son of the late actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, is known for films like Aaj Aaj Kal and Jeet, Hamrahi, Jawani Deewani, Ponga Pandit and Rampur Ka Laxman. She was last seen on the big screen in Super Granny, released in 2014.
