Pakistani music band, Strings, announced the end of the band late on Thursday, while insisting that the members, Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia, share a great bond. The band remained in function for 33 years.
Strings said in a statement released on Instagram, Hey guys. This post is a little different from the usual. We have decided that today, 25/03/2021, is the day we patiently meet to finish STRING. The last 33 years have been incredible for both of us. It is very rare to be able to do these kinds of things and we are infinitely grateful to all our fans for making this possible. We hope you found it worthwhile as well.
While the band may no longer be together technically, the two of us share an inseparable bond that will not connect us to any case where life takes us. Thanks to the whole thing.

Strings began as a college band in the 1980s with four members. His first big hit film was ‘Ki Kaun Yeh’ in 1992. Apart from popular songs like Dhani and Na Jaane Q, he also performed songs for Bollywood films Zinda and Shootout at Lokhandwala and John Day.
