Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan, who is talking openly about her depression and creating awareness about mental health issues, has shared a new video about her struggle on Instagram.
Convincing fans that she now feels better, Ira said that there are still parts of her that don’t want to believe him and thinks he’s overrated. I don’t do drugs, I don’t harm myself, I don’t drink too much, I don’t have too much coffee, my depression doesn’t work that way. I do not have an immediate life threat. Not only this, my depression appears.
She also reveals how she piles up stuff, and in the end, it becomes too much and I crash. He said that there is a sense of relief when the accident happened.
Ira shared the video and wrote on Instagram, Me: So what now, Doctor: I don’t know. There are too many parts for me. It is the conflict between the two of them that very seriously affects my overall healing efforts. Depression. But the burn out is getting longer and longer so I will have to make more efforts. This plan is to reduce the frequency and intensity of my burn out. I do not need to change my entire existence and functioning. Don’t have to do too much work. A bad thing, trying to do too much is not a bad thing – not always. There is a point after which he becomes unwell. This is what I need to find. That balance. Because working also makes me happy.
In an earlier post shared on World Mental Health Day, Ira posted a video in which she admitted that she had been depressed for over four years. She said that she was doing much better after seeking therapy.
